More Details & Pictures
I have owned and built many VW vans. I purchased this one about 5 years ago and have been using for my business for events and as a sign in front of my retail store.
In the years I owned it I only drove it about 700 miles. The previous owner had thousands of dollars of engine/suspension work done a few months before I bought it. I have maintenance records going back to the early 90s. The engine (2.0) and transmission run absolutely perfectly, never overheats and no leaks. Brand new tires.
I had the van wrapped about the time I bought it. It is a wood grain pattern and the company logos are on top of the wrap. So if you like the wood look you can simply pull off the logos. Under the wrap it has white paint in good shape. There are two repairs in primer I had fixed before the wrap. The wrap is peeling in several spots. I talked to company who did it and they still have access to the material if you want to fix it.
Pop top works but needs a new tent.
Appliances and beds in working order.
Needs driver seat tracks ( already ordered)
Needs rear and sliding door interior panels.
Needs radio/ speakers.
No rust!
Needs wallpaper on a few interior panels.
This would be a great camper for someone.
It’s needs a bit of cosmetic love but mechanically it is a gem. Feel free to call with any questions.
Thanks!
