The best campervan of them all–1988 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia full camper, with a Subaru 2.5 engine and automatic transmission.

One of the best Westys you’ll see. Van is in close to original condition in appearance but has a ton of upgrades to improve drivability and camping. Engine conversion is from Smallcar in Seattle. Drives extremely well for a Vanagon. No accidents. Odometer shows 252k miles on body but most running items have been replaced. About 80k on Subaru engine, which runs great and does not consume any oil.

I have all receipts from prior owners. I’ll also include a ton of extras, including: new BusDepot 3-window tent for poptop, upgraded sink faucet kit, complete set of extra curtains, clean rear seat kick panel if you would like to replace it, brackets to install headrests in rear seat, and more I’m forgetting.

The van has zero rust on the undercarriage and slight seam rust in several areas that has been addressed with POR-15.

The van has air conditioning that is completely functional. However, it has not been holding refrigerant for long and likely needs to have a leak repaired. Condensor and compressor are only 2 years old.
