1984 Volkswagen Westfalia (pop-up) Camper. Body restoration in 2014! Please see the photos.
Purchased in 1988 from a family member. 121K miles.
New engine in 2001. Recent work includes new exhaust system, new CV joints, boots, suspension, struts, new paint, side panels, windshield, badges, decals, and window seals. New chrome bumpers with end caps. Hella driving lights, West African grill. New tires in 2013.
It is a four-speed manual transmission, factory air conditioning, cruise control, and AM-FM stereo/tape player with four speakers. The propane gas stove, water faucet (replaced pump this year) and refrigerator are in good working order. The van has been mostly garaged and excellently maintained with the oil changed every 4,000 miles with Castrol Syntex and the coolant changed every two years. The original interior has been cleaned regularly, with neither pets, children, nor smoker occupants.
