“Buttercup” has been well cared for during its 284k-mile journey. Fully functional, well maintained, a Sonoma/Napa resident Westfalia with no rust or accident damage. 20 years of maintenance records. Interior great condition including seats, carpets and original curtains. All camping appliances work as new. Propane, fresh water and refrigerator systems are in proper working order, ready to go camping.
Mechanically, the van is in very good condition. Water cooled Engine starts easily and idles perfectly. I mostly travel at 55 mph but has no problem zipping up to 65/75mph. 4 speed transmission syncros all operate properly. Clutch works effortlessly. Smooth running and solid steering. No leaks!
This is a Classic 1984 VW Westfalia Camper Van equipped with original camper features in excellent condition. AC/Propane refrigerator, propane two burner stove, working sink, with on board tank or outside hook-up. This van is VERY CLEAN.
Sleeps 4. All windows, doors & locks work. Paint is wearing thin in a few places and pop-top has some small patched tears.
Hard for us to part with her! Must see to appreciate.
