Had our van up for sale a couple months ago but with a move to a new house wasn’t able to get back to the inquiries so reposting. We are selling because we started a family and got a bigger “vacation wagon” and didn’t want to go through the effort of getting our van set up for a baby seat. Because she’s not equipped to carry an infant car seat around we find that we haven’t driven her all summer when she used to be a daily driver.

We’ve done tons of work on her over the years and kept extensive records on that work. She has an upgraded engine with approx. 80k miles on it, a 95 Jetta engine block with a 98 head. I really suggest knowing a thing or two about engines if you plan on buying an older car like this so you can troubleshoot repairs. We have replaced many many many components however.

We drove the van from Colorado to California and all the way up to Alaska and back and she never left us stranded. There is an auxiliary battery system and solar panel set up and radio with auxiliary port and new speakers. We recently got new tires that have barely been driven since we got a new vehicle. I’ve been told by my westie mechanic that the rust on this van is minimal for a 30 year old vehicle, but come decide for yourself. She has the upgraded pop top with 3 screened windows, the front one opens completely.
