1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia full camper for sale. 1.9 liter with manual transmission.

Has AC but have it disconnected. The fan works but the system never blew cold and never cared to fix it. We’ve owned this amazing van for the past 4 years and it has served us well on our adventures but it’s time to pass it on to someone new.
This Westy carried 5 of us and all our gear on a 2500 mile trek through Yosemite, Lassen Volcanic National Park, and the Eastern Sierras a couple of years ago and it was one of the best vacation of our lives. We love this van but just need to move in a different direction right now. My kids are not happy with the decision to sell it.

The Good:
Sleeps 5. 2 up top, 2 below, one up front above driver and passenger seats,
Swivel front seats,
One table,
Has all curtains and rear bug netting. Sink works. Stove works. Fridge was removed for more storage. Has the center rails for adding a bench or single seat.
Rear heat works great.
No seam rust,
This Westy is 2wd but has been set up like a prerunner.
The previous owner installed the GoWesty lift with FOX shocks, new springs, and 16” GoWesty wheels.
Previous owner repainted the top with marine grade paint.
I have installed:
New CV joints, grease, boots,
All new fuel lines and tank reseal,
New gear reduction starter,
New fuse panel,
New heater switch,
New front heater fan and resister,
Added cot above driver and passenger seat,
New shoulder belts for rear seat,
Frame and shoulder belt for a jump seat (JUMP SEAT NOT INCLUDED IN SALE),
Lift assist struts for pop-top,
Roof rack brackets on pop-top,
New windshield.

One month ago swapped out the original (220k + mile) motor for a used motor with 145k miles. I have a video of the motor running showing the odometer with correct mileage from donor vehicle. He pulled the motor to do a Subaru swap. When I swapped the motor I had a new oil pump, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, belts, cap and rotor replaced on the used motor. The van runs great!
Tires are an AT style with approximately 50-60% tread left.

The not so good (typical Vanagon stuff):
Slider door is finicky to shut,
Surface rust on rear fender,
Rust at bottom corners of front window and rear window repaired by previous owner but not painted (shown in pictures),
Right front shock could use a rebuild (makes a clunking noise),
Roof tent is new style with more windows installed by previous owner but does have some small holes (shown in pictures),
Odometer quit working a few years back, speedometer works correctly,
Fuel gage reads 3/4 when it’s actually full.
