The auction closes Monday 11/6 at 1:51 PM PST. The van is located in Multnomah County, Oregon.

This is a very nice 1985 Vanagon Riviera camper similar to the more common Westfalia version. It has been well cared for and comes with maintenance receipts from its upkeep including a professionally rebuilt and upgraded 2.2L engine (10K miles ago) and a newly rebuilt transmission (20 miles ago).

The upgraded engine has great power, shifts perfectly, rides smoothly and steers wonderfully. The interior is in great condition and has a new (June 2023) Kenwood radio/CD/Bluetooth player. Westfalia fans will notice that the Riviera’s top lifts horizontally (functioning perfectly) as opposed to the Westy’s roof that slants to nothing towards the rear. The exterior is in nice shape with good paint, a reasonable number of imperfections, a few dings at the left rear corner and two minor repairs to the camper roof.

The van comes with the original Riviera privacy curtain/screen set, side awning and is fully ready for your next adventure with the added cache of its unique PNW history.
