1984 Volkswagen Vanagon for sale. Water-cooled engine, standard transmission, Odometer reads 251,538 miles but isn’t currently working (stopped a couple years ago). Engine rebuilt approx. 9 years ago. We have owned it for 1 year and would love to be able to keep going with the projects and adventures we had planned, however life is calling and we have to say goodbye to the Westfalia dreams for now!

Recent Repairs:
+New radiator fan & switch, Starter, O2 sensor, fuel filter and oil/filter changed regularly.
+Original metal coolant piping was rusting out so was replaced with rubber coolant hose.

Pros:
+Pop-top canvas in excellent condition
+Tires in excellent condition with good tread. Comes with second set of tires (winter tires)
+Stove works well
+Interior in great condition — ceiling completely cleaned and remediated of mould/mildew in 2015
+Some seam rust typical to a West Coast westy — Not extensive. Comes with all rust repair supplies & paint you would need to sand down the rusty spots and re-paint. (We planned on doing this in the Spring when the sun came out)
+Comes with ~$200 brand new spare parts: 2 Mahle oil filters, 1 fuel filter, 1 fuel pump, spare window crank

Work needed:
+ Slow coolant leak from Head, exhaust leak.
+Odometer/Speedometer not working. Exact mileage unknown.
+We don’t know if the fridge works or not, haven’t tried it as it’s space better used as storage. We have always brought coolers camping with us anyways
