Volkswagen westfalia 1986. I have had this van for over three years. Its been to canada twice and down the whole coastline. This van is awesome! The guy I bought it from rebuilt the engine.
I had the transmission rebuilt since I’ve owned it and a long list of mechanic work over the years by a professional vw mechanic in boise. This van keeps up great on the freeway with its 2.1 water-cooled engine and it doesn’t overheat.
I had the inside rebuilt with all new wood work, and new upholstery! The van is equipped with an awesome pioneer speaker system, run it bluetooth or use the usb. Stove can go for months on the same propane.
The pop up has the gowesty three window tent. New thick wall tires were bought two months ago. New custom welded bumper with hitch attachment! Thule rack with yakima rocket box all set up. This van will take you where you want to go!
It has some good dents on the driver side of the car as you can see in photos. You could backyard body shop or have a professional do it. Or you could drive it with the dent, this is why I’m selling it for so cheap.
I just moved to san diego from idaho and want a new daily driver. It’s super hard for me to sell the van because its a rarity to have such a good runner. I’m hoping to find a good home for it.
