This is the full camper version. I have owned this fine specimen for 19 years, and am finally ready to let it go. The family has expanded by one – there’s just not enough room for all of us. Just turn the key, and you’ll be ready for adventure!

2.0L Air-Cooled engine
Manual 4-Speed transmission
195,000 miles

13,000 miles on rebuilt engine and transmission:

• Engine rebuilt by Silverton Aircooled Repair (Steve Bass)
• Transmission rebuilt by AA Transaxle (Daryl Christensen)
• Replaced fuel injectors
• Replaced clutch and resurfaced flywheel

The Good Stuff:
•New 35 amp-hour house battery (with Sure Power isolator)
•Catalytic heater for cold weather camping
•Original carpet and upholstery in good condition, no rips/tears
•Canvas in good condition, with a minor repair in the mosquito net
•All systems working normally (fridge, stove, water pump, plumbing, etc.)
•Garaged a great majority of the time I have owned it (19 years)
•Sliding door operates smoothly
•Fridge defrost fan upgrade
•Fridge external coil cooling fan upgrade
•Extra dome light over table
•Includes all original manuals for vehicle, fridge, etc.
•All accessories (front table, front privacy curtain, rear mosquito screen, etc)
•Electronic ignition upgrade (Pertronix)
•Fuel expansion tank lines renewed (2001)
•Engine fuel lines renewed (2012)
•All tires recently replaced (Hankook RA-08 in 2012, with only 1,500 mi. of use)
•Numerous other little things have been renewed

•Haynes maintenance manual
•Spare mass air-flow meter
•Spare rear brake drums
•Spare EFI electronic control unit
•Spare distributor
•Spare clutch cylinder
•K&N Air Filter (needs re-oil)

•Improvised kiddie bed platform that fits between front seats
•Overhead cabinet (modified for A/C)

Needs Improvement:
•A few dings, and small rust spots near windows
•Some slightly mismatched paint on rear panels if you look closely
•Suspect a front brake rotor may be a bit warped
•Sliding Door latch does not stay unlocked (you close it, it’s locked)
•Front passenger seatback is a bit lumpy
•The oil drain plug leaks very slowly (maybe a few tablespoons/year)
•Spare tire is more than 20 years old
•Muffler is 18 years old (but still working)
•Defunct A/C was removed, along with the overhead cabinet that housed it. I still have the cabinet if you want to restore
•Old after-market stereo works but is weak
