This van has been my four year pet project and has taken our family on many fun adventures, but it’s time to find a new home. If you are looking for a modernized westy that is ready to go whether it’s a weekend camping trip or a cross-country epic adventure, this is the van for you.

This van spent most of its life in california before being purchased by a couple in new york and then by me. Despite residing in the northeast and midwest for the past several years, it’s never seen snow or salty roads.

I’ve brought this van up to modern standards performing most of the work myself but relying on my local vw mechanic for the major mechanical and maintenance items. All receipts and service records are available for inspection, including many of those from the previous owners. The chassis has 221,000 miles on it with the 148,000 mile refurbished subaru engine installed 7,000 miles ago. The automatic transmission was also rebuilt at the time of the subaru conversion.
