We have for sale a 1990 VW Vanagon Weekender with a pop top camper. We purchased it in California where it spent most of its life. There is no major rust on it. The body is straight with only a few superficial dings. It has the original 2.1L water-boxer engine and a 4 speed transmission. It has a few updates and new parts including:
New BOSCH Alternator
New stainless steel exhaust
New AirFlow meter
New Radiator
New water pump
New Michelin tires
GoWesty front sway bar
This van is great in the city or if you’re camping. We do not use it enough these days to justify keeping it. Aso, this van does not come without its quirks. It does not have a working A/C but it did from the factory. It still has the compressor and hoses. I have accumulated some spare parts that will come with the van as well.
