You are viewing an exceptional example of a 1987 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper. With mixed emotions we are making our Westy available due to a very busy schedule that leaves little time for recreation.

Our Westy has lots of mechanical upgrades including highly desirable and super efficient AMC Heads, upgraded radiator and all cooling lines replaced so she runs cool and with superior performance. Even in hot So Cal Traffic our Westy drives cool with no overheating issues. She also has Zero coolant leaks, Zero power steering leaks, Zero transmission leaks or zero leaks of any kind. The transmission shifts effortlessly and correctly under all conditions and the clutch grabs exactly where it should. She drives with excellent performance around town or on the freeway’s of Southern California. She stops on a dime too! All lights work correctly. We equipped her with Go Westy Alloy wheels and Goodyear all terrain tires that have at least ninety seven percent tread life left. The combination of upgrades provides a superior ride quality that is second to none and she is ready for an extensive road trip anywhere.

She turns heads everywhere! Whether parked at the beach or in town this Westfalia stops people in there tracks. Three weeks ago I was driving her on the freeway and I had at least four people in other cars give me the big thumbs up along the way! Our Westy has near new paint with perfect sheen and luster. A mirror finish is the best way to describe her paint and body with only very minor imperfections over the past few years. All glass was pulled when she received her first repaint in 25 + years. She is a rust free example. Do to oxidation we had her re-sprayed in her original color of Metallic blue and installed all new rubber around the windows including front windshield, Tail gate glass, left and right side rear most side glass and both sides of mid section glass. The seals on the pop top were replaced as well. We installed new Syncro style all terrain flairs. We also installed new California Westy heavy duty front and rear bumpers. If you like seek a Westy that looks as great as she drives our Westy might be perfect for you.

The interior of our 87 Westy is 27 years old but you would never know it since all of it is in nearly perfect condition with only minor flaws if any. The seats have zero tears and are nearly stain free. The Headliner is in very good condition. The interior door panels including two front doors, slider and lift gate are in very good condition. The pop top canvas is in very good condition. She is equipped with Lloyd rubber mats from Go Westy that are near new and much more user friendly for sandy feet. The dash board and steering wheel are in very good condition. The Westfalia cabinets are in very good condition. All instruments work correctly including odometer, Speedometer, Temp and Fuel gauges. All interior lighting works correctly. She also has fully functional and completely upgraded R134 Air conditioning that is Ice Cold and also replaced all AC and heating components including AC relay, R134 retro fit kit, New R134 Freon, Front heater valve, Heater fan resistor and Cooling fan relay. With the AC on full blast there is no load on engine performance thanks to the engine upgrades we did as mentioned earlier. She is also equipped with fully functional power outside mirrors. The refrigerator works but we seldom use it but on electric power it cools down quickly. Stove and running water works correctly. All bedding is in excellent condition. All curtains are original in very good condition and she still has the front compartment curtain in excellent condition. Her rear bug screen is in very good condition. She has both front and rear tables in very good condition. She also received new window tinting. The rear tail gate just received new struts.
