We have finally decided to sell our “much loved” 1987 Westfalia van. This is a full camper with many additions I have added over the years. If you have been shopping for a Westy or owned one previously, you know there are many out there that have not been maintained OR they have been fully restored and are very expensive.
Our Westy has not been completely restored but has been lovingly maintained with many upgrades for camping ease. I purchased it in 2003 and it has been a daily driver and used on family trips over the years.
Here are the basics: 1987 Westy with 177 miles. Tiico Engine Conversion done at 115k miles. New brakes, steering rack, suspension, clutch/transmission, cooling system also done at 115k miles. The Tiico engine provides more power and improved gas mileage over the stock engine. No accidents or rust. Air conditioning, power mirrors, 4 speed manual transmission. I have all the regular service records since 2003.
The interior is in near perfect condition. Seats have no tears/rips. Stove and refrigerator work great. Body is straight, no dents. Original paint so some fading.
