This camper is very cool. I don’t want to sell it but I have to. For several years I have spent a lot of time and poured lot of money into this camper. I lost my will to spend more money on this project. My plan was to put the new engine in, polish it up enjoy it for a season then sell it for the going rate ($15,000). After installing a new boxer engine from GEX, we discovered it needed more parts (brakes, brake line, cooling line, sensors, computer, radiator, new tires, the list kept growing and I kept buying the parts and had them installed. Finally!! it was ready for its first voyage. After a great weekend of camping, the van over heated and blew the head gasket. I have now lost my will to spend more money on this project. The quote to replace/repair it is $1000. I am asking $6000 for the van.
Answers to common questions: I do not know if the kitchen items work, there are only 2 small surface rust spots where we dinged the metal while working on it (see photo), the interior is in great shape. some wear on drivers seat. rubber molding around tables is loose. The body is sold, the paint is good. the tent has a few holes and screen is ripped, it is an automatic,
