Hello again, I put a new catalytic converter and she has passed smog so she is ready to sell with no issues. Someone is going to get a good deal as I just don’t have time to sell her as I am rarely home. I am lowering the price to 10K.

I going in a 4wd direction. When I decided to sell it she started messing up. The engine broke but she runs fine now after I replaced the engine. This is a converted to poptop camper. She just passed smog so is ready to sail/sale here in CA.
Regeared automatic tranny. Someone spent a lot of money on her doing a nice job. I ran for years without the kitchen, but it is back in, just not hooked up. Some rust has started to pop up. She has a 1995 2.2 Subaru engine with fresh redone heads, nice Michelins, 16″ wheels, solar panel, nice gauges on dash, Kenwood stereo, roof rack and mudflaps. Just spent $550 on new muffler and getting new seals put it because of leaking.I am ready to accept reasonable offers. I have a list of problems from Randys Foreign Auto (they do conversions here in SD) that a kind potential buyer paid $200 for and details the mostly minor problems. The biggest problem being the tranny seal leaking. The engine compression is good which is why on the freeway to the smog referee I was easily cruising with the fast cars trying to burn off the new converter coating that I was recommended to do.
She really hauls booty and functions great for its intended use
Buy her for a reasonable price, put some of the money you saved fixing her up they way you want, and away you go.

What follows are the exact words from Randys check of the van back in May with my comments following. The cost was $200
Invoice states:
Compression 150, 155,155,150
1 Cooling system operates normal, never broke 200 degrees
Following work recommended:
2 Trans leaks from cooler fitting and selector seal. Still leaks a tiny bit
3 Engine oil leak from breather baffle. I spent $400 to fix.
4 Cv boot and joints. Yes the boots are cracked and should be replaced. That is the next thing I will do. I dont hear any noises from CV joints.
5 Heat shield rattle. I fixed it
6 Heater does not work. I have a valve on the heater hose so you don’t get hot foot. It is turned off. Heater does work
7 Windshield washer does not work
8 Front parking light out
9 No battery cover and box is bent. I have cover and has to be replaced. Totally minor and fixable
10 Lid struts wont hold lid. I bought and installed new struts
11 Rear wiper missing
12 Muffler is broken. I purchased and installed new muffler and Catalytic converter.
13 Tires are cracking on side wall. Nice michelins with the tiniest cracking
14 A/c does not work. Was working great till I drove to Tioga pass at 10k ft and the system blew out of the release valve on the compressor. Not sure what happened.
15 Wiring is bad looking. check engine light is non op. Looks ok to me and never had a problem. I’m sure Randy does a beautiful wiring job, but he charges $10k
16 Still has plastic coolant pipes. Stock coolant pipes work fine. You can spend a ton and get stainless ones.
