1987 Volkswagen Vanagon 2WD

This 1987 VW starts right up and drives straight down the road. It can be enjoyed right now, not later and was driven here all the way from Washington State, so it’s a proven road warrior. Very good tires, lots of upgrades, very clean interior and solid all around Volkswagen. Easy camper conversion if that’s what you prefer, or enjoy it exactly like it is. Plenty of room inside to pack all your camping or surfing goodies and a full curtain set is included for privacy while traveling.

* Serviced including oil change and new Bosch spark plugs.
* New front brake pads 11/25/2013.
* Recent starter and battery.
* New front & rear wiper blades, even the washer fluid works.
* Gauge lights are white LED lights from GoWesty, nice and clear.
* General All Terrain “Grabber” 27×8.50 R14 LT tires are in excellent condition and mounted on later model Vanagon rims.
* Recent retro AM/FM/Cassette w/iPod connection and 4-speakers to enjoy your own tunes.
* Updated South African upper headlight kit, grill & lower grill.
* Heavy-duty GoWesty steel bumpers.

Flaws:
* A few minor dings and dents, some minimal rust, some rust behind front wheels on the seam (see pics). Very clean underbody!
* A/C needs new compressor and we don’t have on. Brand new drier is included.
* Transmission will grind slightly if you shift FAST into 3rd gear. Take your time, and it shifts nicely.
* Odometer not working, speedometer is accurate.
* Windshield has crack on passenger side. New windshield available with German seal for $350 installed here.
* Paint will shine nice if you do some high-speed buffing. Still looks very presentable as it is.
