1986 Westfalia Vanagon Camper Wolfsburg Edition, Brown, – 122,692 miles

Annie spent her first ~116.000 miles (23 years) of her life in San Francisco, CA. Then, in 2009 her first owner, Susan, passed away and Annie was inherited by Susan’s brother Norman, who moved her to Evanston, IL where I bought her in 2020. I had big plans for camping trips and time off-grid, but unfortunately my job situation changed shortly after I bought her and I realize now that I won’t be able to give her the life of adventure she deserves in the near future.

I upholstered the rear bench and seat as they were unusable when I got her. She just got her yearly check-up, fluids topped off, and I put in a new battery, so she is ready for new adventures. The bike rack for 2 bicycles is included, if wanted.
As you’ll see in the pictures, the front seats could use a cover and her dashboard has a unique style of (I assume) sun damage. I thought it was cool, but probably not everyone shares that point of view. Even though she spent the majority of her life in a dry climate and when living in Illinois, she was kept in the garage, there are a few (cosmetic issue only) rust spots.

Susan and Norman took great care of Annie and I have all the repair and yearly tune-up invoice records. I listed the big repair/replaced items during the last 25.000 miles below.
