This one is special! Full camper with low mileage modern Turbo Diesel Conversion. This TDI van addresses all the powertrain issue that we love to hate in these vans. Although 1986-91 are the best years of the Westfalia Vanagons they still suffer from a lack of POWER, DURABILITY, and EFFICIENCY. This van has solved all of it.

It’s much more powerful than stock and even faster than a 2.5 Subaru conversion and gets twice the gas mileage! You will outrun every Vanagon out there. The 4-speed transmission was upgraded with extended 3rd and 4th gears to suit the diesel and for better economy and faster speeds with lower RPMs on the freeway. The torque is incredible; load it up and it has no problems with the AC blowing climbing hills at the freeway speeds. It has icy cold air conditioning and fully operational cruise control. The TDI conversion is all Volkswagen with an AHU engine on a Vanagon diesel carrier: very clean, zero vibration, proven and easily serviced. No leaks or issues at all. It’s ready for another 100,000 miles.

UPGRADES GALORE: Installed is a Hybrid brand upgraded turbo with instant power and no lag at all. Power throughout the entire band. Also upgraded are the ALH fuel system and ECM. It comes with an upgraded brake booster, new radiator, stainless steel coolant lines, and fuel tank. All maintenance has recently been done including a new timing belt. Comes with upgraded wheel size and new premium Goodyear tires.

The van is stunningly beautiful. Completely rust free with perfect off-white paint, textured rockers, new window rubber seals, new heavy-duty 3-window tent upgrade and much more.
