Selling ‘Gerdy’ my 1986 VW Vanagon Syncro with pop top conversion.
4×4 with rear locker. Original engine/transmission that runs great but before it can be taken on a long drive needs new tires, the fuel tank will need cleaned out and a new battery should be installed. Will need to be towed if you’re driving it out of town. Z bed was removed by previous owner and replaced with a platform as shown so you can put down a full queen size mattress. No coolant leaks and doesn’t over heat.
I’ve lost steam with this project. Will come with new gowesty fuel tank reseal kit, fuel sending kit and fuel tank strap kit. Previous owner did most of the body work it’s in excellent condition for its age all that it needs is a small paint job. Recent engine/trans oil change. Great price to be able to double your money with a syncro!
Message me with any questions. Last fall I changed fuel filter, fuel pump, lines and drove it a hundred miles to test the rear locker system it functions as it should.
