Originally purchased in Germany, before its tour of Europe. Have documentation. Brought back to the Chicagoland area where it has always been garage kept while not traveling about. Second owner.

Vehicle has always been maintained. There has been a lot of money/love put into this thing to keep it alive. Everything is up to date. New almost everything. Kitchen has never been used. Have every part available to update including propane tank to update kitchenette.

All new cooling system, stainless lines and new radiator, expansion tank, water pump, thermostat.. Newly updated brakes. 4 speed manual with a recent trans flush and oil change. Comes with coolant heater for better cold starts while winter traveling.

As a history of the vehicle..growing up it was my neighbors van, a sweet older couple who flew to Germany on their 50th wedding anniversary and purchased the van there. They then traveled Europe for a couple months and shipped it back. They continued to travel the states with it as well, it was always dealer maintained. It’s been all over literally. Canada, Mexico Alaska. Considering they bought it in their 70s, it was always a meticulous thing. Just the two of them. it eventually sat in a garage for a good amount of time.

It had stopped running and almost got junked. I had it moved to my house and began the mechanical restoration. I have not touched the body of the car. It’s very clean for its age, underside is amazing. I’ve had it for maybe 10 years.

I have been through almost everything. I have not opened the motor as it has not needed it. I have redone all the fuel lines, re sealed the tank. All the evaporation tanks have new lines as well. It has an updated go westy fuel filter set up as well to they are no longer obsolete. New starter, new fuel pump, water pump, the whole cooling system too with stainless limes and new radiator, and expansion tank. It has an inline coolant heater for winter camping too,.

Upgraded halogen headlights that you can actually see with it also has a different thermostat that opens a few degrees cooler so the engine does not run as hot, great for the summer if you get stuck in traffic, clutch is mint. Did a trans flush less that 6000 miles ago. Runs strong does not leak any fluids. Interior is in great shape! Actually it’s shocking the shape of it. Considering it was an older couples vehicle, I was actually the first person to pop the top. New alternator, plugs, wires, distributor, I also have a Libby bong for bleeding the coolant. New fuel sending unit as well.

There has been a lot put into this. Just did the brakes this summer, new calipers and pads in the front, all shoes and springs in the rear as well. Have a set of 1.5 inch spacers with pressed studs as well. It currently has a set of Audi A6 rims (16) but I still have the factory rims/hubcaps also. New exhaust/muffler with a test pipe(cat delete) to breath a little better. New engine/trans grounds as well, new cv joint/boot and regreased axles as well.

Also have magnetic screens for the windows as well to camp with the windows down and keep the bugs out. I can keep going……So much to say, please email with inquiries. Happy to discuss.
