Our time with April, previously known as Magic Bus, has come to an end.
We are now selling her, in hopes someone else will be able to continue to put love and care into her, and more importantly, some USE! We just don’t use her much anymore.
We bought this in 2019 from someone else locally. This is not an automatic transmission although I haven’t figured out how to change that within the listing on FB. It is manual!
Stove, fridge, sink, water pump, utility hookups, bed, pop top, all work!
-Installed the following:
*all new exterior door handles
*New exterior utility hookups (goWesty)
*goWesty Sink Faucet and P Trap
*Internal window cranks (goWesty)
*rear hatch cylinder (goWesty)
*Skylight seal (goWesty)
*Water pump for internal water tank (goWesty)
*new electric from utility hookup to fridge and outlet
*late model fridge, Dometic
*new water lines from utility hookups to sink and drain line
*new exterior propane tank
*painted cabinets off-white
-Mechanical work
*All mechanical work below has been done by Pat’s VW in Loveland, since 2019
*when we bought it from previous owner, timing was off – repaired
*new fuel filler neck (sometime within last few years)
*new fuel pump (did ourselves)
*brakes checked in July 2023
*new battery in July 2023
*passed emissions a few years ago and we got classic tags
-Previous Owner’s Work
*new LVP flooring
*changed bed cushion to more comfortable one
*took out the swiveling table that is usually right behind the passenger seat area
-The bad:
*Small leak somewhere within the new water lines from utility hookups to sink
*fridge doesn’t seem to work on propane, only electric
*Many rips and stains in canvas. BUT We purchased a new top canvas that needs to be installed (goWesty)
*no working radio or AC
*maybe some rusting individual spots on exterior body
*odomoter does not work
*spedometer does not work (I just got an app on my phone)
-Included:
*as much of our van camping gear as you want, ie pots/pans/cutlery/plates etc.
*new canvas for you to install
*mattress topper that makes it even more comfortable
We are open to offers. Pricing these seems challenging so we are just doing our best! 🙂
