Additional query (we sent another just a few moments ago): do the kitchen fittings (stove, sink, refrigerator) all in reasonably good operating shape? And–would you be insulted if, should we be favorably impressed with the van, we asked a local VW dealer shop to evaluate the van for us? We are ignorant of the insides of any automobile/van, and would not trust ourselves with such a major purchase. We mean to imply no distrust of the seller–just of our own judgment.
