Selling our ’84 water-cooled Volkswagon Vanagon Camper. This van is in great running condition and has nice, working interior features. Lots of recent repairs and all receipts. Great van and super fun for family or solo camping!
Recent repairs: rebuilt go-westy engine, new water pump, exhaust work, new tires, and much more (please inquire about all specifics)
Features: Working stovetop and sink. We assume fridge works but we have never hooked it up. Screen door for back, swivel capital chairs, and very nice canvas pop-top.
The van has a small amount of rust that was there when we bought it 3 years ago, we live in a very dry climate and it does not seem to be spreading or worsening. It is of course a 30 year old vehicle so it has some imperfections and quirks. Sliding door handle only opens from the inside and gas tank leaks when overfilled (common in these models). The odometer has high miles on it but the new engine was put in in 2006 and rebuilt in 2012 with about 5k miles since the rebuild. Clean title. Could be a daily driver or special occasion vehicle depending on your needs. Gets about 20mpg!
