My beloved vanagon is in need of a new home. The reason I’m passing it on is that I’m moving to Europe.
The van is in great shape, and has been very very reliable for me.(still is and old vw with it’s quirks).

The KEP Subaru swap was done in 2016, rebuilt ej22 that had 130,000 miles. The body itself has an unknown amount of miles on it.
Go west 2″ lift springs, Bilstein shocks, wheel bearings, new ball joints(6 months old).
Gas tank resealed and new sending unit
New Bosch fuel pump
LED lights front And rear
New speedo cable, go westy instrument computer board, led dash lights.
Custom bumpers
New toyo open country AT tires on Mercedes rims 215/75r15
Alpine stereo with Bluetooth

I have kept it well maintained. The body and paint looks great, does have small blemishes but great patina. The back hatch door is dented from getting rear ended, thanks to the beefy rear bumper that’s minor and not visible behind the spare tire and utility box.

The van has been on many road trips up and down the west coast, 2 months ago took it to northern Washington without any issues. It sleeps really well with the full width bed. The best and most practical car I’ve owned. Turns lots of heads and gets attention(for better or worse).
