This ad is for a 1985 Westfalia Camper. This van has been a very reliable daily driver for the years which I have owned it. I have had to do very little work on it outside of routine maintenance.
I have recently done some work on the exhaust system, patching up a couple of holes, and removing the rust, and have had bamboo floors installed to replace the carpet. I also had a custom propane heater installed, which can be directly connected to the propane tank that supplies the propane for the camper-stove.
– 75,000 miles on rebuild. Previous owner is a retired VW mechanic, who did the rebuild himself.
– Compression is good
– Tires are just over a year old and in great shape
-Brand new battery
– Pop-top canvas has a couple of patches, but overall is in great shape.
– All camper accessories are functional, except for the refrigerator, which was removed by the previous owner, and the inverter switch.
– The AC was also removed
– Includes Thule and roof-rack
