-1997 Volkswagen 1.9L AFN TDI installed in 2006. 110 hp and (173 ft lb torque) @ 1,900 rpm. 50 degree install so it fits in the original engine compartment. The engine rated excellent for emissions when it went through AirCare.
-DieselPower tuning chip installed giving a 25% boost in HP and Torque with the added benefit of better fuel economy (when driven gently). Thread on AFN engine below.

Interior
• All upholstery and cushions in very good condition.
• No strange smells or odors. Van has been non-smoking.
• The two front seats have adjustable armrests in good condition.
Camper equipment
• All original equipment in good condition: curtains (including for front windows), back window screen, screen and cover for skylight, poptop window cover.
• Each of the two front seats can be fully rotated for maximum interior camper seating.
• Westfalia sink with (cold) water faucet, 2-burner stove, and water reservoir/pump all in good condition.
• Refrigerator is finicky, as all these OEM refrigerators are. Still works on 110 volt and 12 volt DC (both fine) and propane (the finicky part). Includes two of the rare ice cube trays!
• Utility drawer, pantry and six additional storage compartments/closets.
• Upper bed cushions in good condition. (Approximately 48″ x 72″)
• Both removable and adjustable tables are in good condition.
• Bench seat functions properly and changes into and out of bed position easily. (47″ x 74″ bed)
• Mosquito netting snaps into place so rear hatch can be left open.
• Full set of original privacy curtains with all snaps and slides in good working order.
