More Details & Pictures
1989 VW Vanagon Westfalia with 2001 Tiico engine conversion (South African Jetta engine) and auto trans. Complete camper, lots of extras and upgrades. Propane stove, refrigerator, sink all work. Wired for amateur radio with 80 watts of solar in the luggage bay on the roof. Recent transmission rebuild from German Transaxle and still under warranty. Alloy 15″ rims and good condition Michelin XZX tires make the van handle the way it should. Recent emigrant from Texas, so no rust. 248,xxx on the chassis, 145k on the engine. Recent RV purchase means we no longer use the camper features. We’ll miss it, but it needs to go to someone who will use it as a camper.
