Selling my 1980 Vanagon, Westfalia. Runs, drives, stops. No mechanical Issues.
I bought this Vanagon about 4 year ago from a gentleman in Illinois.
He had lived in this Vanagon for over year while he filmed a documentary he was making, afterwards, the van sat for a few years before I bought it from him.
The Vanagon has 210,444 miles on it. That being said, I have replaced the transmission with a good working trans from an 82 Vanagon.
Transmission has all gears, new gear oil, cv joints were rebuilt with new boots and grease.
Engine runs like a top, but only after a fair amount of work.
Engine has new spark plugs, fuel injection seals, vacuum lines, fuel pump relay, fuel pump and filter, intake manifold seals, and other items I’m sure I’m forgetting.
I fitting the Van with new heavy duty bumpers costing over $1300. I also installed new mirrors and painted the pop top.
Tent top opens and closes like it should, there a few patches jn the fabric, but it’s in over all good condition.
