1989 VW Vanagon Wolfsburg Blue Star Edition

Only 1500 were imported to the US. Has special edition trim, paint color and wall mounted bass reflex speaker.
Only selling because I don’t have the mechanical experience to keep up with it.
Would suggest having some if you’re planning on purchasing especially with engine swap.

A lot of work has been put into this van
Engine swap to Subaru Legacy 2.2L single overhead camshaft
Installed temp gauge,
Hooked up heater core under rear seat,
Replaced harmonic balancer and drive belt
replaced rear brake drums ( shoes and hardware was new)
hooked up secondary battery under rear seat.
Installed vehicle speed sensor pickup off rear drive axle and wire to harness.

Only issues are
Speedometer doesn’t work (common in Vanagons and can be repaired)
Extended crank on the startup occasionally and ends up starting if given some gas
Coolant temperature sensor needs to be reconnected
Leak in driver side seal (common and is an easy fix)
