More Details & Pictures
Garage kept for the majority of this van’s lifetime. Mostly original. This is a Vanagon Westfalia by Volkswagon. It is above average in condition. Has been to many states up and down the East coast. The owner’s manual and some service receipts are included with the sale of the vehicle. Originally from Florida, this vehicle is 90% rust-free.
Starts easily, and are no drips or leaks. If sits too long, has trouble starting. May need a battery replacement soon. Does NOT emit smoke from the tailpipe or have any unusual noises. Interior in excellent condition. Stove has NEVER been used for the ENTIRE life of this vehicle.
We bought it like this and just always used our camper stove to preserve the beauty of the original stove and to keep the inside of the van in pristine condition. Carpet and seats are in above average condition with no staining, except a few spots on the carpet in the back.
There are two cracks on the windshield in the front but they do not go all the way across the windshield. Will eventually need to replace windshield. Brand New pop-up canvas. We replaced it a few years ago as there were holes in the mesh. Now it is perfect.
A couple of items that are not 100% – the A/C does not work. Also recently bumped into something and there is a slight dent on the side of the van. Pics available. There is also a small amount of rust on the bottom of one side. Can see from the photos. I believe this van could be driven home safely and without a problem, even many states away. However, we cannot guarantee as this van is almost 35 years old.
Sold as is.
