Volkswagen continuously marketed the Westfalia Camper throughout the Vanagon 11 year run; this is a much more common standard camping van than previous Type 2 generations. For this reason when looking for a “Vanagon Camper” you are likely to find the Westfalia more frequently.
There are however also off shoots such as the Weekender, Riviera and Syncro versions that are often listed for sale. While less common there are also DIY homemade Vanagon Camper Conversions as with other VW Type 2 models. We include these versions for discussion on this site as well as in our classifieds section.
